Biography

Chris Allen is a singer/songwriter solely focused on helping to bring back dynamic and inspired songs to your ears, with an emphasis on the true emotion of each word and chord. A Kansas City native, Chris has lived in Los Angeles for 5 years, and currently co-runs a recording studio in Culver City called Studio-Rev. Early 2011 brought to close the writing of an 8-year-long album, released in June, called “Candour.” 12 songs, though all completely different from each other emotion-wise, are still threaded by a desire for something more meaningful and memorable in modern music. That’s 5 m’s. Southern rock, alternative, classic rock, 70’s pop all find a rightful place on the record.
