Joel Nicholson, of Butcher the Bar, is used to filling small houses throughout Manchester. This Brit’s singing style, although soft, has a beautiful way of resonating with the instruments. He quickly reminds us of Elliot Smith, another singer who’s soft voice was able to fill even the largest of venues. Butcher the Bar will be touring with Death Cab for Cutie throughout Europe after being discovered by thats bands frontman, Ben Gibbard.
