Biography

Héloïse Letissier’ is a singer/songwriter and dancer from Nantes, France. Inspired by the drag queens who danced with her while she performed, she eventually adopted the stage name Christine and the Queens. She began her electric pop solo project with her independent debut EP, Miséricorde, in 2011. She has been signed to the record label, Because Music, in 2012 and has released two more EPs and her first full-length album in 2014, which was reissued on Atlantic Records in the United States the following year. In 2016, Christine and the Queens performed a cover of Beyoncé’s “Sorry” in the BBC Live Lounge, which then was named on of the “6 Best New Songs of the Week.”
