“Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.” That’s right, it’s Edgar Allan Poe season. Ian McGlynn’s favorite time of the year. Sweet and spooky October. And to celebrate Halloween this year, Ian’s opening his door to all trick-or-treaters. So crunch your feet upon those dead leaves that lead up to Ian’s door, ring his bell and hold your pillowcase wide open, because there’s a super special treat waiting for you indeed. Better than a full-size Snickers bar. It’s Ian’s new Halloween single co-written, as is often the case, with fellow fall colors fan, Chris Newkirk.

“Monsters Cry Too” is an ode to feeling sad in honor of the creatures that live beneath your bed (and you know they do, just stick your hand down there when the lights are off in the middle of the night for further proof). Treat yourself now or forever face a lifetime of unsavory tricks.
